The presentation will provide insights into the work of the IAPA teaching team over the past year in establishing the requirements of TRBS 2121 in the IAPA training concept.

In addition, the current status of the creation and design of the new ‘IAPA rope technician (STS)’ training programme, which will fulfil the requirements of TRBS 2121-3 in the future, will be presented. In addition to initial insights into the planned STS training content, the further procedure in cooperation with the VBG will be presented and an outlook on the developments and plans envisaged by the IAPA teaching team for the 2025 season will be provided.
