David Stevens, Environmental Director of 270 Climbing, has just been building a large new climbing gym. He found ways of reducing steel and concrete in the construction, and reducing the carbon footprint in many other areas. Rich Emerson, MD of The Climbing Academy, has done a baseline analysis of his four climbing gyms and has found ways of reducing their environmental impact. Tiphaine Lazard, Marketing Manager of EP,  will demonstrate real-world examples of the use of EP's Carbon Calculator. Their message is one of hope and inspiration, showing that there are very practical steps we can take now to reduce the carbon impact of our much-love indoor climbing and competitions,
